Jharkhand is a state in eastern India. It was carved out of the southern part of Bihar on 15 November 2000. Jharkhand shares its border with the states of Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the west, Orissa to the south, and West Bengal to the east. It has an area of 28,833 sq mi (74,677 km²). The industrial city of Ranchi is its capital while Jamshedpur is the largest city of the state.

Dhanbad

Dhanbad is a city in the state of Jharkhand, and is also known as the Coal Capital of India. Dhanbad is the 79th fastest growing city in world. According to the 2001 census, Dhanbad is among the 35 cities of India with a population of more than one million. Among the Rail Divisions of Indian Railway, Dhanbad Rail Division is the second largest in terms of revenue generation.

Dassm falls

The Dassam Falls is a waterfall located near Taimara village in Bundu police station of Ranchi district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.The Dassam Falls is a natural cascade across the Kanchi River, a tributary of the Subarnarekha River. The water falls from a height of 44 metres.

Deoghar

Deoghar is the headquarters city of Deoghar District in the Santhal Parganas division of the state of Jharkhand, India. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage centre, having in Baidyanath Temple one of the twelve Shiva Jyothirlingams in India and also one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India.
